Participatory Municipal Planning and the use of the Maps

This Sunday, September 22, 2007, as the climax of the "putting the Ciénega in the Map" was held with the facilitation of Mr. Sunday Matias, an expert on municipal issues, the workshop "Participatory Municipal Planning and the use of the Maps" with the aim of sensitizing the participants on the concepts of Municipal Planning and processes to be put into operation and uses of GIS in planning tool. The workshop was held at the Library of La Cienaga town hall and was attended by 33 people representing various organizations, aldermen, treasurer and employees of the City Council, representatives of FEDOMU, and the program of Transparency and Citizen Action.
The same was facilitated by Mr. Sunday Matias, an expert on municipal issues, as part of the collaboration of the institution Civic Participation to the project "Putting Cienaga in the Map"
