Participatory Municipal Planning and use of Maps

This Sunday September 22, 2007, as the climax of the "putting the swamp in the Map" was held under the facilitation of Mr. Domingo Matias, an expert on municipal issues, the workshop "Participatory Municipal Planning and use of Maps" with The objective is to sensitize the participants on the concepts of Municipal Planning and processes for their operation and applications of GIS in the planning tool. The workshop was held at the City Library of The Swamp and was attended by 33 people representing various community organizations, aldermen, treasurer and employees of the City Council, representatives of FEDOMU, and Program of Transparency and Citizen Action.
The same was facilitated by Mr. Domingo Matias, an expert on municipal issues, as part of the collaboration of the Institute for Citizen Participation in the project "Setting the Swamp in the Map"
