Now! At last! The Women's Cooperative Swamp sells its first products processed

One afternoon in 2003, Vicky and two young graduates of a course of community leaders, sat with a group of community leaders / ace, talking about how to take p'alante Swamp community. Today, after almost 6 years later, having made the project TRANSGAGRO and gained support from several agencies (PPS.pnud, FIA, Ibbi etc.) and implemented two years, the Women's Cooperative Cienaga, COOpDECI, was present on 6 and June 7 in the FestiCafe 2009, stage for the first hint of the market and bitter orange marmalade "In My Seed", produced with fruit from the shade of the coffee plantations of our hills.
The first production of the products "In My Seed", even without the careful final appearance (labeling etc.) had very good acceptance among the public, highlighting among others, both for its flavor and aroma, and its presentation and innovation include and combine tropical fruits do not exist in the market. Graviola still jam the most acclaimed and requested. In the tent, in addition to sell jams and sour orange of My planting, were exhibited and sold handicrafts made by the cooperative. Our tent was decorated by paintings by l @ s @ s Niñ Elementary School of La Cienega, the creativity workshop conducted by the Foundation Taiguey to mark the International Day of the Earth.
The team promotion and sale of the COODECI for fair consisted Mayra Polo Happy, Bethania Carvajal, Medina and Maximum Erinalda Feliz. The FestiCafe is held each year in Polo, Barahona, by the Cooperative of Coffee Growers, to celebrate the harvest and sale of coffee in international fair markets.
