Foundation and ideAC Taigüey sign collaboration agreement

The Associative Economics Institute (IDEAC), and the Foundation agree Taigüey colaborarse within the framework of the project Transagro - Swamp
The project Transagro-Moor is the creation of a Small Business Community Associative (PECA) of agro processing of fruit produced in La Cienaga, run by women in the community, this project seeks to provide a sustainable solution to the problems of environmental conservation and income generation through the exploitation of traditional crops (coffee and fruit trees used to shade east), and to promote inclusion and participation of women in the economy.
The agreement consists of:
o Establish partnerships for the marketing of products made by the PECA within the framework of the Organic Products Marketing executed by the IDEAC.
or Based on its extensive experience in the subject, advises IDEAC, as far as possible, in the conformation of the PECA
or Taiguey support, to the extent of their capabilities, the process of formation and operation of a cooperative of farmers that IDEAC is promoting in the area and will coordinate with the project's work Transagro Swamp.
The definition of specific activities for the fulfillment of the agreement should clarify once Transagro-Moor Project achieves obtaining the necessary funds to begin implementation.
