May 26, 2009
26 and May 27 of the COODECI women started the training process for the preparation of jams and sour orange In My Sowing, Guided by the team of Institute for Innovation in Biotechnology and Industry. After a long process development and adjustment of the formulas of our products, starts to transfer us IIBI technical knowledge of how to make jams Soursop, Mango-Banana and Chinola. And, although we all know making jams, we're going to IIBI tablespoon of sugar to the refractometer to measure Brix of fruit and our finished product, the jar in the fridge to vacuum packaging for the useful life or long shelf life.
We also learned about the management and distribution of plant and hygiene measures.
With this knowledge we prepare to bring to market products with a standardized quality. The start of the transfer marks the beginning of a new era for our union, after a long process of preparing, we will begin production of our small processing plant on a solid knowledge base. We still have long way to go, but we are on the way ...
The process of transfer to state led by Dr. Elisa Gomez, the IIBI and has performed with the support of the Foundation Taiguey , the Small Grants Program for the Environment and the Inter-American Foundation .
