Renowned artist Miguel Ramirez facilitated a workshop on Creative eDestrezas Environmental Protection Ornament and Urban Beautification Swamp from 3 to 6 April 2009. Module I
Creative Skills Workshop
We began the workshop with a dynamic personal presentation and expression of our expectations of the creative experience that we would develop for four days.
Game was introduced by way of fable, which would remain present throughout the workshop as a reminder of learning strategy, where we consider collectively the three purposes that lead our creative adventure, these were: Exchange, Explore and Experience, purposes that were enriched and recreated with different stimuli, dynamics and activities.
During four sessions, morning and evening, sixteen hours in total, we developed a variety of crafts and perceptual dynamics (games, stories, riddles, commentary, interactive dialogues), where children explored their psychomotor skills and their imagination with different plastic materials, components and experienced basic techniques of drawing, painting, collage, knowing and applying the knowledge of colors, shapes and composition.
Each activity was conducted with the introduction of a topic, led always aware of the environmental protection and beautification of the environment, through stories and games, so the group kept in constant encouragement and enthusiasm, always remembering the three purposes agreed at the start of the workshop.
Practices and exercises were all placed on the walls at the time of completion of each activity as a way to appreciate the personal recognition and build self-confidence, developing comments of appreciation and valuation of the work and purposes fulfilled.
During the first two days, successfully developed the first module of the workshop, provided the thematic and activities planned, we just could not wait to make the practice of recycled items. The quantity and quality of work performed by children, exceeded expectations, revealing with great amazement the certezay the potential to create and develop these areas of stimuli sensitive and creative experiences and rural area.
5-6, April 2009 Module II: Mural Painting
A new adventure waiting for us to develop in the next two days, face the challenge of painting a mural of 6 meters on the front wall of the school ...? The mission was to turn all that imagery explored in the workshop and
put on the mural.
Organize materials and equipment in a collective dynamic small groups were organized to distribute the work, so that the mural was made in arias evolutionary stages, as if we were describing a story.
Dynamics was performed to observe, describe and list the elements that shape the landscape of the area and the immediate environment, assessing the importance of protecting nature and environment and beautify in immediate coexistence.
The groups were working to shape and color to mural progressively, always guided by a facilitator ensuring that all sorted and creatively intervene in the story they wanted to tell. The first day was held with great dedication and enthusiasm, with just two sessions, I could appreciate the beauty and quality of work.
The next day we continue to work and giving termination.
We made a collective dynamics to create a phrase to summarize the content of the mural and a message to be placed next to the signatures of all participants.
Building a clean and healthy environment we live in Harmony!
Each Niñ @ participated painting a letter of the sentence and the final message. Arranged in a row all placed the imprint of his hand and his name ending the paint job.
In a collective dynamic and ordered all the materials collected. Finally we come together to discuss and reflect on the shared experience in these four days of discharge current and creative. Tod @ s expressed their joy and gratitude, recognizing and appreciating the wonderful experience of having made this journey of adventure and exchanged, explored and experienced all their abilities, skills and creativity, so cheerful, fun and enriching.

Emphasize and appreciate the excellent organization and logistical support from the Foundation Taigüey, effectively providing resources and favorable conditions to successfully perform the workshop, including lunch for l @ s s obesity.
Equally grateful for the care and conditions for facilitators. I think it was a successful and profitable activity, which could be projected and provide continuity.
Very Personal
Whenever I have the happiness and the opportunity to accompany and lead creative non untaller 's, I reaffirm the necessity and power developer and training exercises artistic stimulation in s obesity, for their integral development sensitive and intellectual.
I am amazed and spiritually enriching exchange and share the creative experience with children 's rural and marginal areas in need of stimulus playful and sensory experiences. These experiences always surprises me back full of affection, enthusiasm and creativity unusual, say me, fundamental principles and aesthetic conceptions determinants expressed in my artwork professionally.
