Start new round of community meetings to the Community Ecotourism Project in La Cienaga

On February 28, 2008 we had the pleasure of having the first meeting of Ecotourism people in the community! At last it was time to start with the plans and project ideas Community Ecotourism.
Not only was a meeting to inform them about the project but also to get their reactions. Facilitators Juan Carlos and Yacine you explain to people the importance of having a project like this, the positive impact that will take you to the community as well as for nature. That compared with traditional tourism offers from abroad, the benefits of community-based ecotourism go directly to the community and not abroad or people who do not need them. The number of people present at that meeting was great, more than 40 people were curious to know about the project. At the end of / the participants were very enthusiastic and maintain that enthusiasm was necessary to have another meeting.
That second meeting was held on March 13, 2008, and was facilitated by Juan Carlos and Vicky. In this encounter with the people in the community was more emphasis on explaining the different products 
to be offered, how to develop and the requirements and skills needed for future Community Ecotourism Project workers. In order to work you need people who want to work on this project, so this meeting was also to give people the opportunity to enroll as a guide, cook / a, coordinator / a, family housing, etc.. It also noted that it was still necessary to deepen the importance of ecotourism and the positive consequences for comunidad.También at this meeting the number of participants was high and excitement was at the same level as in the previous meeting, and on top of that, I was expressed by the fact that many people signed up to work on the project.
