Boots the Project CARISNET-2: Integrating and strengthening of the players in the ICT for Development in the Caribbean
With a workshop of the Consortium partners CARISNET in Jamaica (March 16-17) kicks off the project CARISNET 2, subtitled "Integrating and strengthening of the actors in the TICpD in the Caribbean, unleash the transformative potential of ICT in the region." The project's overall objective is to contribute to social and economic development in the Caribbean region, by strengthening the capacities of the sexes local players for the actions of regional cooperation initiatives in critical TICpD in the Caribbean. Before concluding, the project will succeed in establishing the foundation and develop a work plan for the consolidation of the Virtual Community of Caribbean players ICT (CIVIC) as a regional mechanism for promoting knowledge exchange, capacity building and collaboration among the actors Caribbean ICT ..
