On June 4, 2007 in the morning was held the meeting to launch the project planning and "La Cienaga Putting on the Map." The workshop was planning the launch of the project and defined the responsibilities of the different partners in the project. Also, ideas were identified possible variables to geo-referencing, and options for gathering information in the household and community levels. The meeting was attended by Jafmary Feliz (Director Research ONE) Javier Cabrejos (Executive Director of Citizen Participation) Jose Antonio Matos (Civic Participation Barahona) Raul Ponce (Director of Cartography ONE) Redeem Medina (Technical Consultant) and Alexis Fernandez Taiguey , Victoria Apolinario, Alejandro Feliz Montilla and Yacine Khelladi.
